Siav Academy Foundation
The Siav Academy Foundation was set up on May 15 2009 by Siav S.p.A on the initiative of Siav Chairman Alfieri Voltan.
The Foundation is a non-profit organization and serves the purpose of transmitting and promoting the social and cultural activities Siav has been carrying out for some time, as part of the company's civic commitment to support the country's development.
Statement from the Chairman Alfieri Voltan
“Our company decided to set up a Foundation as a specific commitment and a practical way of dedicating part of our resources - in particular our technological and managerial know-how - to initiatives that benefit the population as a whole, beyond what we do on a day-to-day basis.
For several years now, Siav has been involved in cultural and civic projects and activities, promotion and publications such as our Siav Minigraph Series, and sponsorship and non-profit activities to help preserve and promote our historic, cultural and artistic heritage through the innovative use of information technology.
But this is not all. One of the specific aims of the Siav Academy Foundation is training in the dematerialization and modernization of the economy and the way companies are organized.
The creation of the Foundation is an important next step in our cultural heritage work, and we give deserving people awards and study grants to finance or jointly finance doctorates as well as research funds”.
