On this premise Alfieri Voltan founded Siav in 1990. It is committed to innovation, often making pioneering proposals ahead of their time.
Siav was created as a company dedicated to the development of ICR procedures, originally on behalf of Siemens.
The company expanded its range of activities over the succeeding years, producing solutions for archiving and electronic document and workflow management for both small and complex organizations.
Among the first in Italy to develop software solutions for electronic document management, OCR/ICR and workflow, Siav has remained faithful to its original line of activities and today occupies a position of technological leadership in the development of software and solutions for ECM.

In the year 2000 Siav obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001 certificate which also covered its software production. In June 2003 Siav extended its certification to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 level. In recent years Siav has registered a constant growth in its activities at both national and international levels.
